The Old Dominion University Police Department is dedicated to creating and maintaining the safest possible environment for its students, 工作人员, 和游客. This includes a proactive approach to law enforcement and aggressive problem-solving techniques for identified crime trends. We employ 55 sworn law enforcement officers who provide 24-hour protection for more than 25,000名学生, 教师, 和工作人员. We cover the 288 acre main campus and the surrounding communities of Lamberts Point, Larchmont, and Highland Park of our concurrent jurisdiction in the City of Norfolk.
